Hello! My name is Cristna Passos, and Id like to take a moment to share a little about myself. I am originally from Fortaleza, Brazil. I spent a great deal of my life there, moving to the United States only in 2001, but I am now proud to call Boca Raton home. I am a very happily married mother to two beautiful children, a son and a daughter. My incredible family has been, and will always be, my inspiration. For as long as I can remember Ive had a camera in hand, capturing memories of friends, family, vacations, scenery, and life in general. Photography had always been a joy but my passion really blossomed after my children were born. I loved recording each milestone: first smiles, first steps, first tears, every precious memory. In those moments I found myself really connecting to the power of photography. I began researching and self-teaching as much I could, anywhere I could. I have studied books, watched tutorials, attended workshops and while my skill has certainly improved from where I began, I hope I never lose my still-present thirst for learning more! My style has been described as romantic and whimsical. I incorporate my creative vision into each session to truly customize each experience, even going so far as to handcraft individual props. Daylight illuminates my images whether we schedule a session in my studio or on location. I feel pure, natural light best accentuates and highlights all the things that make a subject unique. It also provides that romantic, airy atmosphere that characterizes my work. I love what I do and want you to be pleased with the entire experience. I strive to compose your portraits naturally, without forcing poses or emotions. My priorities are making you feel relaxed, genuine, and ensuring you have fun!
